For students, trainees, and other attendees on a tight budget, the Youth
Hostel within walking distance of the conference site offers very
affordable accomodation. We have been able to reserve a block of rooms
starting on the 09/09. For earlier arrivals, you will have to talk to
the hostel directly. Note that rather than becoming a member of the
hostel association, international travelers can buy day tickets at very

The closest airport is Cologne-Bonn-Internation Airport (CGN ), which features a convenient public transport connection to Bonn city covered by the public transport ticket you receive when booking accommodation via the conference website.
Another option that may be attractive for international travelers is to fly to Frankfurt, a major hub, (FRA) and either rent a car (you can choose a scenic route or Autobahn (distance to Bonn about 170 km), or connect via high-speed train (ICE), which takes you from Frankfurt airport directly to ICE station Siegburg/Bonn in approx. 40 minutes, from where public transport will take you on to Bonn city center.
The conference venue can conveniently be reached by bus from Bonn Hbf
(Hauptbahnhof, the main station) in approximately 15 minutes via lines
600 or 601, running every 10 minutes. Get off at the stop
"Nervenklinik". To reach the Dorint hotel, just get off at stop
"Casselsruhe", the hotel driveway is across the street (approx. 5 min
walk to hotel entrance).
