The deadline to submit abstracts on-line have been extended to:
Authors will be notified by September 15, 2007 if their abstract has been selected for the conference. A limited number of abstracts will be selected for oral presentations.
Authors whose abstracts are selected will be expected to formally present the abstract in poster form and attend the conference.
Abstract poster viewing will be available for all ICCAI attendees in a dedicated area at the conference.
All abstracts will be evaluated on originality, clarity, and scientific rigor by the ICCAI Scientific Committee.
All accepted abstracts will be published in the Journal of Critical Care.

Abstracts should follow the guidelines of the on-line submission form (approximately 500 words and contain no more than one table and one figure). The following headings should be included:

Title
Objectives or Hypothesis
Methods
Results
Conclusions

Please note, formatting will be limited for the on-line submission. The field to enter the abstract holds plain text only. You may cut and paste text into the field. You will receive instant notification via email of your submission.

Requirements for the posters are:

Not to exceed 45 inches wide x 44 inches high.
Be presented with text of font size of 24 points or more (size 30 recommended).
Include the same headings as the original abstract
Acknowledge funding sources
